Dr. Richard Huntsinger

Dr. Richard Huntsinger is a Fortune 500 R&D executive, Silicon Valley entrepreneur, expert witness, professor, author, and management consultant with broad international experience leading programs in AI, data analytics, process automation, customer service operations, IT operations, and enterprise software development at organizations like AT&T, Hewlett-Packard, IBM, Symantec, Hitachi, Curtiss-Wright, Bank of America, and US Dept of Energy. He has led development and market introduction of more than 20 commercial process automation/data analytics products and customer-facing IT systems. He has served on the management teams of several venture-backed high-tech start-ups from build-out to IPO and acquisition. He now serves as Faculty Director and Distinguished Teaching Fellow at the University of California-Berkeley, where he lectures and oversees research on data strategy and data science applied to law, business, and public policy. He is a strategy and technology advisor to several companies and a frequent guest speaker in industry, academia, and government.

Dr. Huntsinger earned his PhD in Engineering & Public Policy from Carnegie Mellon University; MBA degrees from University of California-Berkeley and Columbia University, honors; and MSc and BSc degrees in Computer Science from California State University, honors. He holds ASQ Six Sigma Black Belt, PMI Project Management Professional, ASA Accredited Professional Statistician, and RSS Chartered Statistician certifications.
